entrepreneurs in India. Mahila Money specialises in offering loans to women who want to grow their own
business along with financial literacy resources and community to achieve their financial goals. The
Mahila Money ecosystem is committed towards supporting women’s business growth and increasing their
contribution to the GDP by becoming the largest source of productive credit-backed capital for women in
business, bridging women’s growth aspirations by unlocking a wealth of diverse yet tailormade financial
opportunities.
We aim at enabling women to achieve financial independence through its neo-banking platform. Create a
safe space for her to take charge of her own money, her own business. Develop a community first
financial platform that simplifies financial jargons, becomes a go to resource for all things business and
removes a woman’s inhibitions with respect to wealth management. On our journey, we are looking for
highly motivated, passionate and analytical people to develop Mahila Money.
This advertised role is for a full stack developer.
What will your story at Mahila Money write?
● You will work with across Mahila Money’s development stack including various backend
systems, frontend systems
● You will be responsible for quick prototyping of pilots.
● You will be involved with all levels of designing and structuring systems, deciding optimal levels
of abstraction and future protection.
What will you think about (a lot of the time)?
● Are you using technology to solve a problem as opposed to letting your knowledge of
technology limit the solution?
● Are you building a clean and scalable platform allowing for future innovations in products?
● Are you ensuring security and privacy of data?
● Have you understood the business goals and are you delivering technology to achieve them?
● Are you updated with the latest tech developments and innovations in the field?

What is your A game?
● You have 3 to 5 years of experience developing full stack applications
● You are fluent in Node.js, React, Redux, ES6, HTML5, CSS3, and cross-browser development
● You have experience in building web applications using Python, Golang or Java
● You have experience building Restful APIs
● You have a good understanding of at least one web framework (Django, Flask, Rails, Spring etc)
● You have good understanding of data structures, algorithms and design principles
● You thrive in an environment that uses AWS and Elasticsearch extensively
● You are able to write clean codes with TDD or BDD adhering to common principles
● You understand security protocols needed for a Fintech platform
● You have high accountability and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial setup with multiple
deliverable in a fast paced environment
● You are obsessed to get the details right but also understand urgency in a startup
● You have high empathy to think from a consumer perspective
● You have strong communication skills and are able to explain yourself in a concise manner
