Position Summary
Experienced backend developer with strong expertise in Java and Kotlin for building scalable, secure, and high-
performance backend systems. Proficient in Spring ecosystem (Core, Boot, Security, MVC, Data), RESTful API
design, JPA, SQL, and tools like Maven, Gradle, and Git. Skilled in working with distributed systems, microservices
architecture, and applying design patterns and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Be part of a cross-functional team focused on continuous improvement of systems using innovative
technologies
• Collaborate closely with the team to deliver features from requirements and analysis through
development and into production
• Work with Product Managers to clarify requirements and prioritize tasks
• Partner with QA Engineers to maintain and enhance product quality
• Coordinate with DevOps Engineers to support operations and troubleshoot issues
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and evaluate new tools for potential use
• Define and apply best practices within the team to deliver new features effectively and improve the
quality of existing systems
What is Required
• Solid experience with Java, Spring (Core, Boot, Security, MVC, Data), REST (principles and hands-on with
at least one framework), SQL, Git, Maven/Gradle, JPA, and Design Patterns
• Experience with Kotlin
• Experience working with distributed systems
• Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers, QA, and DevOps throughout the entire
feature/product lifecycle, from inception to maintenance
• Strong skills in writing high-quality, secure code; familiarity with static code analysis tools is a plus
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills, both spoken and written in English
